Soldiers and fighters of al-Baida province who are fighting Houthi militias in al-Ruzami front in Sa'ada province arrived in al-Baida, a local source in al-Baida said.

Dozens of fighters of the 1st War Brigade arrived in the province in eight military vehicles, including quantity of ammunition and other military weapons.

The arrival of fighters in the province comes a days after the fall of the strategic Mount of Halmous in Thi Na'em front.

A commander of the Popular Resistance in the province accused the Third Military Region of the National Army of tearing the Resistance down in Thi Na'em and al-Zaher during the battles last week against the Houthi militias.

Mohammed Ma'aruf al-Amri, the commander in Thi Na'em, said on Facebook that " we informed the Army that the Houthi militias has prepared to storm the Resistance's sites".

He added " after a vigorous appeal we were supported by 45 mortar shells and RPGs, 5,000 machine-guns and 20,000 Kalashnikov rifle bullets.

Al-Amri ridiculed such support by saying, "For God's sake, is this a support to repulse the Houthi attack or ... such bullets for marriage".

He made it clear that " such support remained three days in the way because it passed through Marib, which remains three days in detention, then Shabwa, Abyan, Aden, Lahj, Yafai till its arrival in al-Baida".
