An anti-vehicle landmine exploded in a civilian vehicle while he was driving in a rural area in Mocha district in Taiz province, no casualties were reported.

Local residents reported that a landmine exploded the  civilian vehicle when he was driving it on a sandy road in al-Kadaiha area, southeast of Mocha, but he miraculously survived the accident.

The incident comes two days after two civilians were wounded in the two landmine blast, one of them anti-personnel and the other anti-vehicle landmine in the district.

In May, four civilians riding a motorcycle were killed in a landmine explosion in al-Zahari village, north of Mocha district, western Yemen.

A number of civilians have been killed by landmine blasts years after the Resistance Forces expelled the terrorist militias on the West Coast.

The Houthi landmines become real threats in the coastal areas. Many landmines have been planted by the armed militias backed by Iran.

Many coastal residents face difficulties in returning to their homes, which have been forced to leave because of the threat posed by mines planted by the Houthi militias on the country's western coast.
