Southern military commander under Brotherhood control area killed in Shabwa

A senior military commander was killed on Sunday in areas controlled by forces loyal to the Islah party, the local branch of the Brotherhood, in the southern province of Shabwa.
A security source told NewsYemen that A Staff Communications at the 19th Infantry Brigade, Mohsen al-Subaihi, was found dead inside his military vehicle in Bayhan district in the province.
Earlier, the Islah Party launched an instigation targeting al-Sabaiha leaders residing in Ataq city as he was close to the Southern Transitional Council.
The 19th Brigade was formed of the people of Usaylan, Bayhan and other areas in Shabwa province, the Brigade had played a prominent role in resisting the Houthi militias backed by Iran in Yemen before expelling them from the two districts late 2017.
