Government's negligence .. Private institution launches initiative to maintain international road between Aden & Abyan

A Private Commercial Institution has launched an initiative to repair and maintain the international road connecting the provinces of Aden and Abyan, Southern Yemen, more than 150 kilometers in the absence of the role of government authorities.
A local source told NewsYemen on Saturday that Ahmed Qashash Trading Est., provided 100 tons of asphalt to maintain the line and fill the excavations and cracks.
The road between Aden and Abyan suffers from excavations and cracks caused by the flow of floods. These excavations caused many traffic accidents resulting in death and physical damage to vehicles and cars.
Residents said to NewsYemen the official authorities ignored the appeals they launched over the past years and did not pay attention to this vital artery and the important link between Aden in the provinces of Abyan and al-Bayda and Shabwa and Hadramout and al-Mahra to Oman, increasing the suffering of passengers and cars' and trucks' owners.
