Tens of warning messages are broadcast by the Houthi militias through the telecommunications companies under their control in the Capital Sana'a and since their invaded invasion it in 2014.

These successive messages over the past few days include a matrix of loud warnings to subscribers, warning them the dangers and consequences of using devices and links (microwave technology),  considering  it that what the militias' calls "the indiscriminate use of microwave devices threatens security and the national economy."!

According to the Houthi militias' letters, the laws in force prohibit what the Houthi militias has called illegal use of microwave devices and links. In what it calls a national campaign to combat the illegal use of microwave devices and links, the militias say that microwave devices are " Wireless networks of a sovereign nature, and their use or trade is prohibited without the prior authorization of the Ministry of telecommunications and Information Technology.

Spontaneous questions full of ridicule

A telecommunication technology that provoked the fears of the Houthi militias in turn raised a series of ironic questions to network subscribers in Sana'a and neighboring areas, these questions focused on what is the "microwave" that threatens security and the national economy ?! Where do somebody use it, and how case he handle it, and what is its purpose or other purposes those microwaves?

What are the main goal of the warning messages? against whom? whether the Houthi militias will organize a campaign of financial donations to support the "microwave" to protect, and preserve a "sovereign privacy."!

According to social media activists, the technology is used to strengthen the internet in neighborhoods, and young people work to gain large areas so as to cover large areas and to get many customers, including in rural areas.

While another team believes that this technology is used in banks, companies and large and multi-branch shops, to manage the business operations and link among accounts of these branches and the main headquarter site.

Houthi contradictions

"The national network is the best and safest use of messaging and data transmission services," the Houthi militias warned in a statement, which means  implicitly of being fear of the microwave.
