The militias leadership sent a delegation led by Mohamed Ali al-Houthi, the head of its Revolutionary Committee, to arbitrate the people of five people who were previously classified by the security services of the group (Preventive Security).

The Houthi militias resorted  what the so-called the "Tribal Custom" in an attempt to contain the repercussions of the crimes of its pre-emptive practices against pro-tribal leaders in Amran province north of Sana'a.

The move came amid a wave of discontent among Yemenis following the leaking of a video documenting the moment when the Houthi militia members pulled the body of Qasherah and mutilated his body.

A local source told "NewsYemen" that the Houthi delegation led by Mohammed Ali al-Houthi announced the compliance of his group "to arbitration according to the tribal tradition of Yemen" to the people of the Houthi leader Fuad Hashim Hamdeen and 4 others who were killed in May in Amran district, north Amran province.

On May 3, 2019, a member of the Houthi Preventive Security System led by Abu Suhaib killed five Houthis, including a leader in al-Janat area in Amran province, killing Fuad Hashim Hamdeen, Abdulrahman Ahmed Al-Qashawi, Hameed Hamoud Hameed and Mohammed Hussein Harab.

He added that Mohammed al-Houthi brought five "Oxes" and a number of cars to arbitrate the families of the dead who are forced to accept their waiver and amnesty for the killers in the presence of a number of sheikhs loyal to the Houthis who wrote and read the verdict sentence in which the families of the victims are forcibly waived their relative cases.
