The Islah Militias, the local branch of Brotherhood Organization in Yemen, exercise the behavior of the Houthi militias, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in Taiz city, central Yemen
Recently released detainees' stories out of Islah prisons disclosed many of the abhorrent abuses committed by the Brotherhood against the abductees in secret cellars
The militias turned many government institutions and private houses into secret prisons and jailed dozens of their opponents behind walls, including Bakathir school located in al-Shamasi, eastern Taiz
Detainees disclosed the brutal torture that are carried out by the Brotherhood ranging from electrocution, burning, beating, as well as physical execution liquidations
Extrajudicial Executions
Extrajudicial executions are common among the Houthi militias and the Islah militias, one of the most important manifestations of the Brotherhood's tampering with security institutions in Taiz
The Islah Party uses the word "Law" as a tool to pass criminal acts of its armed militias against its political opponents, based on its military and security influence, after its success in building a fragile military and security institution that receives its orders and guidance from inside the party headquarters
The Brotherhood recently established their own armed militia, calling it the "Popular Crowd" and used it in the war against the old city of Taiz
The Popular Crowd militias committed the most heinous crimes against civilians under the title of "the Security Campaign", mobilizing masked groups of murderers, criminals and prison graduates into their internal battle that had nothing to do except the party's ambitions
