Dengue fever has spread widely in the Yakhtl area, and dozens have been infected including children, requiring urgent medical care for patients.
According to activist and human rights observer Mohammed al-Shali, told Newsyemen that dozens of children became ill after heavy rains left pools of standing water.
The Director of Makha General Hospital Dr. Nasr Askar called on all citizens who feel symptoms of malaria or dengue fever to go to the emergency department of the hospital immediately.
Askar confirmed the availability of medicines for malaria, dengue fever and all analgesics and medical solutions.
