Houthi militia intensifies shelling on more than one direction in the city of Hodeidah

The Houthi militias on Saturday intensified the artillery shelling and the wide targeting of joint forces positions inside the city of Hodeidah and in the areas and districts of Al-Tahita and Hays, coinciding with a decision at sea off Hodeidah for the Joint Coordination Committee (sixth meeting) chaired by Michael Lawlessard.
According to field sources of the joint forces in the west coast, their positions in Kilo 16 area, east of Al-Saleh city, Al-Khamseen Street, near the College of Engineering and others around 22 May Hospital inside Hodeidah city were bombarded and targeted with heavy weapons and medium machine guns.
The shelling of Houthi militias continued intermittently from dawn until Saturday evening, during which heavy weapons, including 120-caliber mortars and 82-caliber artillery shells, were used in conjunction with intense targeting with Pica, 14.5 and 12.7 weapons.
