The Muslim Brotherhood authorities started an inventory of residents of a number of districts in the city of Taiz justifying the provision of a database to be delivered to relief organizations. According to a source

The sources added that the Muslim Brotherhood authorities have distributed teams to obtain residents' data to find out whether they were residents of the city since before the war or the IDPs, in an attempt to sort them out and know their areas from which they were displaced and their affiliations.

The move came after a meeting of Islah's military, civil and political leaders at the party's headquarters, which raised fears of the transfer of so-called Tareq Saleh cells to Taiz.

The leaders of the reform recognized the need to know the situation inside the city and the classification of the population according to their party affiliations and classification of offenders as sleeper cells and put them under surveillance.
