The southern resistance forces ambushed the reinforcements of the Islah militia, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood organization in Al-Muhfad district in Abyan governorate in southern Yemen. According to local sources
The sources pointed out that clashes erupted after the ambush, using light and medium weapons, before the Brotherhood militia fled towards the Valley of Kufa through a secondary road.
It targeted large trucks carrying tanks, armored vehicles and military crews coming from Shabwa governorate adjacent to the port city of Shakra in Abyan governorate.
