Washington condemns attack on two Saudi oil facilities

The United States condemned on Saturday the attack on two Saudi oil facilities by Iranian-made drones.
The US ambassador to Riyadh, John Abizaid, wrote on his Twitter account: "The United States strongly condemns the attacks carried out today by drones on oil facilities in the province of Abqaiq and Higrat Khurais."
"These attacks, which target vital infrastructure and endanger civilians, are unacceptable and, sooner or later, will result in the loss of innocent lives," he said.
A Saudi Interior Ministry spokesman said in a statement that two fires had been brought under control in two Aramco plants in Abqaiq and Khurais on Saturday.
