Gargash: We continue to provide humanitarian support to Yemen as part of efforts to counter the coup

UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar Gargash said that his country gives priority to the humanitarian situation in Yemen.
Gargash tweeted on his Twitter account: "At the Saudi Support Conference in New York, which is being held under the auspices of Saudi Arabia and the United States, we committed to continue humanitarian support. The UAE has provided $ 6 billion since 2015."
He expressed appreciation for the recognition by the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Mark Lokoc, for the Saudi and Emirati support for the humanitarian effort in Yemen.
UAE minister blamed Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - for the humanitarian crisis caused by its coup.
