Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned against blaming Iran for the September 14 attack on two Saudi Aramco oil facilities.

Erdogan said in an interview with the American network "Fox News", aired on Wednesday: "I do not think that accusing Iran of being behind the recent attacks is right."

"The evidence currently available does not necessarily indicate Iran's responsibility for the attack," he said.

On the other hand, the Turkish president criticized the US sanctions on Iran, saying that "never solved any problem."

The Turkish president's comments came against the consensus of the international community, which blamed Iran for the Aramco attack, in conjunction with the participation of investigators from the United Nations and other countries in the investigations related to the terrorist act.

The Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir, on Wednesday, speaking at a “united against Iran” seminar in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly: "We will see what the results will show. We know for sure that drones and Iranian-made missiles,  We know that it was fired from the north, "he said, stressing that his country has evidence of the use of Iranian weapons in the Aramco attack.

Al-Jubeir hailed the statement issued by Germany, France and Britain, blaming Iran for the attack on Aramco's facilities, calling it "very strong."

The Iranian Houthi militias in Yemen, claimed responsibility for the attack on the oil facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais on September 14, but Saudi Arabia offered evidence to prove Iran's involvement in the attack.
