Houthi militias deliberately use their absolute control over the state's capabilities to prevent any political or popular celebrations of the anniversary of the September 26 revolution or divert attention from it, as happened with the celebration held by the General People's Congress in Sanaa on Thursday

The leaders of the General People's Congress in Sanaa agreed with a group of activists of the Yemeni revolution to hold a celebration event on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of the 26 September Revolution.  Last year, the conference took place in Sana'a.

The leadership of the conference informed its leaders in official institutions such as: the Political Council, the government, parliament and the Shura Council to attend the event as an organizational commitment, as was customary and happened last year when the conference held in Sana'a a ceremony on the same occasion.

According to the sources, the leadership of the Sana'a conference was surprised that some of its leaders in the political council, the government of salvation, the parliament and the Shura militia, which were controlled by the militia, apologized late on Wednesday for the attendance because there is an official event that the rescue government will hold on the occasion at the same time that the conference is organizing its ceremony.

The sources pointed out that the Houthi militias forced all the executive leaders belonging to the conference to attend the ceremony held by the cultural center and prevented them from attending the conference, while others refused and insisted on attending the effectiveness of their party.

Despite the actions of the militias, the ceremony included sharp criticism of the Houthi militias, where Sadiq Aburas called for what he called an assessment of the Houthi administration with his party of state institutions, trying to woo the militia leader into his position by saying that he personally told him that he wanted to end the duplication of state institutions and abolish the interventions of so-called revolutionary committees

Aburas also criticized the exclusion process of his party's cadres and the appointment of militias as their replacement.  He said: There must be equal opportunities between Yemenis in ministries and interests and business, woman or man

At the same ceremony, the son of the first President of the Republic Ali Abdullah Al-Sallal criticized in his speech the practices of the Houthi militias and their attempts to impose their Zaidi doctrine on the Yemenis by force, confirming that this will not be achieved for them, and will face an absolute popular rejection, calling on them to benefit from the experiences of their ancestors who failed to do so

Al-Sallal also implicitly criticized the theft of salary by Houthi militias, demanding them to hand over the salaries of employees, especially the revolutionaries and fighters who sold everything they have to continue their lives.
