The Yemeni ship "Hazoom 1" was found after being missed three days ago, in the Indian Ocean off the coast of eastern Yemen, after search operations led by the United Arab Emirates, while evacuation teams of the United Arab Emirates rescued 44 passengers on board the ship.

Passengers are expected to arrive on Sunday evening after being evacuated to Socotra Island by medical evacuation teams at Khalifa Hospital in the archipelago.

The ship, carrying 44 passengers and cargo, was lost in the Indian Ocean off the eastern coast of Yemen after it set off last Wednesday from El-Mahra to Socotra.

The ship was lost off the eastern coast of Yemen, when it was sailing from the province of Mahra towards Socotra, because of Hurricane "Hika" in the Arabian Sea.
