The number of students enrolled in primary and secondary schools in Houthi militia-controlled areas fell as the new school year began as a result of the militia's silent war on the education sector.

The Houthi militia is tightening the education sector to secure more fighters, facilitating the abduction of students from classrooms to the frontlines.

The Houthis exploit the lack of awareness among children and school-age boys, in addition to their poverty, to recruit them to the frontlines of fighting in a non-Yemeni region.

Reports indicate that the Houthi militia has recruited nearly 30 thousand children during the current war years, at a time when it is looking for children and minors as fuel for war after the refusal of the elderly to join the ranks.

Newsyemen, on YouTube, publishes a Motion Graphic video that shows how the Houthi militia is waging war on the education sector. The militia has not built a single school and has never encouraged education.
