The governor of Hadramaut, Major General Faraj al-Bahsani, said on Monday, September 30, 2019 that President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi had responded to the demands of the local authority and the people of the province.

The Hadhramaut local authority leadership said in an official statement that President Hadi had responded to the demands and announced his support for Hadramout's people in obtaining their legitimate rights and their share of Hadramout's oil sales.

The statement added that the result of this position was the reform of the central financial institution (the Central Bank of Yemen and the Ministry of Finance) and give explicit guidance to the new recruits to address the human rights issues of the children of Hadramout.

He said that the governor of Hadramaut was instructed to allow the ship to enter the port of Al-Daba after the government fulfilled and responded to the legitimate demands of the people of Hadramaut.

He continued the statement of the local authority addressed to the people of Hadramout: "There is no doubt that you are aware of the difficulties experienced by Hadramout during the past period of the various aspects of life and specifically the most urgent and even service issues suffered by the citizens of our province on all segments and without exception and long patience, which  It generated a position among the citizens who rose from their homes in one position, reflecting the authenticity and culture of the people of the province and their conscious civilized behavior in expressing their legitimate rights.

The statement added: "This position, which is a true and vivid expression of the greatness of the awareness of the people of Hadramout, led the leadership of the local authority, which also expressed its position alongside the people of the province and defend their legitimate rights and made the bold decision, which has never been preceded by anyone in the arrest  Ship to export Hadramout oil until demands are met and legitimate rights are met. "

The Governor of Hadhramaut reiterated that "he will remain in the same position if he believes that there is any imbalance or contradiction on the part of the government in meeting the demands."  We will not give up these rights until we have fulfilled our legitimate demands.
