Houthi militias intensify artillery shelling in the city and south of Hodeidah

Houthi militia stepped up heavy shelling on Thursday, October 3, 2019, on the positions of the joint forces in the city of Hodeidah, Duraimi district and Tahita district.

Military sources in the joint forces said that the militias launched heavy shelling on positions where the forces are stationed east of Al-Saleh city of Hodeidah using artillery shells and various types of heavy and medium weapons.

 The militias used during the bombing operations 120-mm mortar shells and artillery shells of 82-caliber, and other sites were shelled with howitzer artillery shells and B10 shells violently.

The militias carried out sniping and targeting operations at the joint forces' positions with heavy 23-mm caliber weapons, 14.5-caliber and 12.7-caliber weapons, and the Bergenev and Pica-heavy weapons.

 A field military source said that the militias launched artillery shelling with 82-mm mortar shells on the positions of the joint forces in the Directorate of Duraimi south of Hodeidah

Militias also targeted sites using 14.5-caliber medium weapons and 12.7-inch Dushka weapons continuously.

 Militias with artillery and various heavy and medium weapons attacked joint forces positions in the north and east of Tahita district on Thursday.
