An explosive device planted near a mosque Baghil Bawazir

Hadhrami elite forces on Saturday defused an improvised explosive device planted by unknown assailants near Ber al-Walidien mosque in Bawazir area of Hadramout province, southeast of Yemen.
A security source said the security services had received a suspicion of a foreign object in the vicinity of the mosque of Ber al-Walidien in Gail Bawazeer east of Mukalla.
It was added that the security forces and the elite moved to the scene and began to evacuate citizens and vehicles in the vicinity of the site, and then dismantled the bomb, while Brigadier General Saleh Haitham Mehdar, commander of the military engineering and mines division in the second military area, dismantled and detonated the device at its location.
It was explained that the device was planted in front of the mosque near the main street and works remotely by mobile phone.
Also pointed out that the device contained high explosive materials, and was disposed of without any material or human damage, stressing that the search for the perpetrators of this terrorist operation is underway and that the perpetrators will not escape from the justice.
