Houthi militias release those involved in the bombing of the presidential mosque in 2011

Local sources told Newsyemen that the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, released the group involved in the bombing of the presidential palace, in accordance with an agreement with the leaders of the Islah party, which lives in Sanaa.

According to sources, the released men: Ibrahim al-Hammadi, Shuaib al-Baajari, Abdullah al-Ta'ami, Ghalib al-'Eizari, and Muhammad Ali Omar, are among a group of Islah party militias accused of attempting to assassinate former president Saleh in the July 2011 bombing of the al-Nahdain Mosque.

The sources said that the release took place in Al-Jawf province, and the five defendants arrived in Marib province, one of the most important strongholds of the Islah Party.
