Security forces in Taiz governorate kidnapped the mother of the child Ihab Tawfiq, who was raped and forced her to deny her previous talk to a monitoring organization that her son was raped,according to local sources
Taiz security activists broadcast a video of the child's mother in which she confirmed that she had asked Akram al-Shawafi when he recorded her confessions with her not to broadcast the recording, but rather, as she said, to hand it over to foreign organizations to be fair.
The mother did not deny the charge of rape of her son, but confirmed it when she said that Akram told her that recording her testimony would do justice to her son.
Last week, Taiz's security forces kidnapped the child, Ihab Tawfiq, who was raped and forced by the deputy director of security to deny accusations that he was raped by members of the army and recorded a video clip of the child accusing al-Shawwafi of falsifying what his mother said.
