Brotherhood militia arrest Abyan governor and prevent him from meeting the Saudi committee

The Islah Party militia on Monday detained the governor of Abyan Abu Bakr Hussein in the port city of Shaqra and prevented him from meeting with the Saudi committee in the provincial capital Zanzibar.

A local source said that the Brotherhood militia detained the governor Abu Bakr Hussein, in the city of Shakra, and prevented his arrival in Zanzibar to attend the meeting of the Saudi committee with the leadership of the local authority and the Transitional Council and the security belt.

It pointed out that there was an agreement that the Governor of Abyan to enter his bodyguard to Zanzibar to attend the meeting and then return.

According to the sources, the Islah militia held the governor Abu Bakr Hussein at one of its posts in Shakra, stripped him of his mobile phones, took him to one of their positions and did not release him until the moment of writing the news (Monday afternoon).
