The UAE Crescent runs a food aid convoy to Tahita in Hodeidah

The United Arab Emirates Red Crescent Authority, on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, marched a new food aid convoy to Al-Tahita Directorate in Al Hudaydah governorate, western Yemen.
Field teams of the UAE Red Crescent have distributed food baskets to more than 1,000 affected families in Tahita, south of Hodeidah.
The UAE aid convoy is part of the Red Crescent's emergency response campaign along the west coast of Yemen.
The areas of the West Coast are of interest to the UAE Red Crescent, which includes mainly the education and health sectors as well as food assistance, in order to alleviate the suffering of citizens and normalize life in their areas.
