Netanyahu accuses Iran of seeking to strike Israel with missiles directed from Yemen

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday accused Iran of seeking to strike Israel with precision-guided missiles from Yemen and urged US President Donald Trump to increase pressure on it.

Netanyahu made the remarks during a meeting with US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin in Jerusalem.
 Netanyahu called on the United States to impose "much more" sanctions on Iran.

"Iran is now seeking to develop precision-guided munitions and missiles that could hit any target in the Middle East in an area of   five to 10 meters," the prime minister said.

"They want to put these munitions in Iraq and Syria and turn the arsenal in Lebanon of 130,000 missiles into precision-guided munitions."

Hr added, Iran is seeking to develop its arsenal, and has begun to put it in Yemen in order to reach Israel from there as well."

 He also cited the September 14 attacks on Saudi oil installations and blamed Iran.
