The engineering teams of the joint forces on the west coast dismantled a new minefield planted by Houthi militias through roads, farms, villages and between houses on the outskirts of Hodeidah city in the Mandhar neighborhood.

Engineer Anis Hussein Saif, a member of the Joint Forces Engineering Team, said that the engineering teams were able to detect and remove the minefield planted by the Houthi militias before being expelled from the neighborhood of Mandhar and nearby areas, farms and roads, which prevented many citizens from returning to their homes.

He pointed out that the presence of large numbers of mines and improvised explosive devices planted by militias in various areas, villages and farms of the province of Hodeidah has caused the death and injury of many innocent citizens, especially women and children.
