The tribes of "Bakazem" in the district of Ahwar in the province of Abyan in southern Yemen, announced the general warning to repel the militia of Islah, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, which attacked the region on Thursday.

The Bakazem tribes called on all the tribes of the central region of Abyan, in order to alienate and confront the Brotherhood militia, which came from the province of Shabwa and Marib to invade "Ahwar", according to the statement.

Earlier on Thursday, the Muslim Brotherhood militia launched a major attack on the security belt forces in the district of Ahwar in an attempt to control the area despite the truce called by the Arab coalition earlier.

A force from the security belt, backed by tribesmen, repelled the attack by the Muslim Brotherhood militia, killing and wounding its ranks.
