Escalation of militias against joint forces positions in Hays and Tahita in Hodeidah

Al-Houthi militias stepped up their military operations targeting different locations of joint forces in Hais district, south of Hodeidah governorate in western Yemen.
The sources pointed out that the elements of the militia fired at the positions of the joint forces soldiers north of Hays with 14.5 caliber weapons and 12.7 caliber weapons. While, gunfire was fired at sites in the east of Hays with Dushka and Pica weapons until the evening hours of Sunday.
In al-Tahita district south of Hodeidah, militias targeted joint forces positions with various types of weapons on Sunday
According to military field sources, the militias targeted joint forces positions north and east of Tahita with a number of RBG shells, Pika rates, Doshka weapon, 14.5 weapon and sniper weapons.
The Houthi militias refuse to abide by the UN ceasefire in Hodeida, which is part of a UN-sponsored Sweden agreement since late 2018.
