Honoring the theatrical giant Ali Yafei on Hafoun Theater in Mu’alla

On Monday, November 11, 2019, Sawa Art Production Foundation held a ceremony in Hafoun Theater Hall in Al-Mu'alla for the dean of the Yemeni Theater, Mr. Ali Al-Yafei.
At the ceremony, the Foundation presented a documentary film, the first at the local level, about a real stature and a school of theater, Mr. Ali Al-Yafei.
The director of the documentary, Ahmed Ali Al-Yafei, said: "We at Sawa Art Production have made a documentary about the artistic stature, drama and drama giant Ali Ali Al-Yafei, as it’s done in the Arab world and all over the world documenting the history of high artistic stature. We hope that our film will be the beginning of dating the history of art in Aden. These films will be real documents for future generations. "
The ceremony was attended by a number of important figures in Aden, including academics, artists and politicians.
Mr. Al-Huwaidi read from the podium of the ceremony the appointment of Mr. Ali Al-Yafi as advisor to the Minister of Culture in theater affairs.
For his part, Mr. Mohammed Nasr Shadhli, the first deputy governor of the province in a brief speech: Aden Governorate adopted the establishment of a cultural facility in the name of the symbol Ali al-Yafie.
Musician Rania Badr, the soundtrack composer in the film, told Newsyemen: “Today, the great artistic stature that has given so much in the field of dramatic art, whether theater or television, radio and cinema such as Professor Al Yafi, and it is very important to document such works that make up the artistic memory of Aden.”
