Three children have died and dozens have been infected with dengue fever in the Negiba region in Ozlat Al-Jumaa north of Mocha district
About 14 children from the same area were taken to Mokha Hospital as a result of their illness.
The director of Mocha Hospital, dr. Nasr Askar said three children in hospital will be transferred to Aden due to their critical condition.
He added that the capacity of the hospital is limited, and the hospital is facing a shortage of medicines and medical solutions.
Residents described the number of people infected with the disease as large, and said that a pandemic is plaguing their rural area.
