A source said that senior leaders of the Houthis, working to revoke the licenses of local radio broadcasts on the wave of FM, motivated by an extremist religious outlaws "singing", and seeks to replace the rhythms of life with the factors of death.

According to the sources, the move aims to close private radio stations, singling out areas of their broadcasting of Yemeni songs in their different types Sanani, Labji, Adeni and Hadhrami.

The Houthis have forbidden singing in several areas of the north of the country, especially Sa'ada, Amran and parts of Hajjah province. People no longer dare to bring singers in their weddings because of fear of imprisonment or fines.
