Taiz governorate, central Yemen, was known as science, culture, and civilization, until before Islah, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Brotherhood began to incite the people of the city, especially the youth, to engage in armed formations, and leave education, as the Brotherhood lured people with money during 2011 to establish an army to fight the state.

The Brotherhood also went to a silent war against any science or culture other than its method, and considered them infidels, and allowed their supporters to loot to motivate the rest to recruit.

As Decisive Storm began in Yemen, the Brotherhood recruited tens of thousands in Taiz, occupied schools and turned them into camps.

Newsyemen, on YouTube, publishes a Motion Graphic video that highlights the Brotherhood's journey to strip Taiz of its cultural and civic value, including fighting the Islah gathering of cultural events that enlighten people against religious extremism.
