6 deaths and 1000 infected .. Swine flu hits Sanaa

Reports revealed a heavy statistic of deaths and cases of H1N1 flu (swine flu) in Sana'a, which is controlled by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, during 2019.
Medical sources said that since the beginning of this year, there were 1038 suspected cases and 346 deaths in Sana'a until December 15th, and revealed that 198 of the deaths were residents of Sanaa , and the rest were infected who came to Sana'a for treatment and died in hospitals.
According to sources, it has been confirmed through laboratory tests that 148 deaths due to H1N1 flu and severe lung infections.
She said that the number of confirmed cases with examination in relation to the total number of deaths confirmed that the epidemic is the H1N1 swine flu, while hinting that the outbreak of the virus is the result of organized work and is linked to certain motives with the de facto authorities in Sanaa.
