The Houthi kidnaps and robs a merchant of Al-Tahita

The Houthi militia kidnapped a merchant from the people of Al-Tahita, in the Saqam Point, east of Hays, south of Al-Hodeidah Governorate.

The merchant, Wael Zabrouk, was returning by his car, loaded with goods, from the city of Hodeidah, when armed Houthi elements stopped him at the Saqam checkpoint, east of Hayes district.

Knowing that he was a resident of Al-Tahita district, the Houthi superintendent ordered the armed men to kidnap him and take him to an unknown destination.

According to local sources, militia gunmen looted a car and merchandise Zabrouk.

The Houthi Point in Saqam, the only port that connects South Hodeidah and the West Coast with the regions and districts of eastern and northern Hodeidah, is one of the largest sites of pillage, theft of merchants, transportation and travelers.
