Houthi escalation in Al-Khamseen Street in Hodeidah city

A military source said that the Houthi militias targeted the joint forces ’sites, which are located within the first checkpoint in Al-Khamseen Street, in the city of Hodeidah.
The source stated, "The militias opened fire with their medium machine guns of 14.5 caliber and the Pica rate weapon in a public breach of the truce without any respect for their ceasefire obligations, even in the locations of the joint monitoring points set by the United Nations Monitoring Committee."
Militias simultaneously carried out an infiltration attempt on the joint forces' sites east of the Al-Durahimi Directorate, on the southern outskirts of the city, in what the source considered "an indication that the militias are heading towards more military escalation."
The joint forces in Al-Darahimi fought several hours of clashes with the Houthi militia, repelling the infiltration attempt and causing Houthi losses.
