Hodeidah Youth Foundation launches the first meeting of the Child Protection Committee in Al-Durahimi

Al-Hodeidah Youth Foundation for Sustainable Development, Wednesday, in the presence of the director of the Social Affairs and Labor Bureau in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, Adel Makrashb, inaugurated the first meeting of the Committee for the Protection of Children in Emergencies at the Al-Durahimi Directorate.
The President of the Foundation, Abdo Ali Bajli, talked about the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the rights that children have to bear the implementation of the Convention.
Bajli stressed the importance of implementing the rights of children in the West Coast and protecting them from the violence that children are exposed to during armed conflicts.
He praised the role played by the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in providing work and activities that serve children.
For his part, Makarshab praised in his speech the importance of activities provided by institutions that serve children and society in Al Hodeidah Governorate.
He said, the Office of Social Affairs and Labor will provide many activities that serve the directorate in 2020.
