The government of the transitional president Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the Southern Transitional Council signed on Thursday evening in Riyadh an executive matrix for the terms of the Riyadh Agreement, led by mutual withdrawals and the return of the forces to agreed locations.

"The minutes of the agreement stipulate the collection of heavy and medium weapons from Aden, and assemble them under the direct supervision of the Kingdom, and this matter of great importance will be handled by joint committees. Collecting weapons makes Aden safer and curbs the ambition of extremism towards their use," Ibn Daghr said.

He added, "We also achieved an agreement to exchange prisoners of the events of last August as part of joint efforts and another step towards dismantling the elements of tension and normalizing life."

He announced that today or tomorrow, at most, over 35 prisoners from both sides will return to their families, and the government will direct the Public Prosecution to open an investigation into the enforced disappearance, reveal the mysterious cases of their disappearance, and announce the results of the investigation to the public opinion according to the stipulations of the matrix.

Ibn Dagher revealed that in the middle of the plan that begins implementation in the coming hours, the President will issue a decision to appoint a governor and security director for Aden after consultation, as stipulated in the Riyadh agreement in the political apartment, considering this an important step that establishes the next stage.

He added, "The minutes of the agreement prepare for progress towards two fundamental things. First: to take additional military and security steps that place Aden security in the grip of public security, where all military formations leave Aden on the fronts of the fighting, to be replaced by the security services of the Ministry of the Interior (condition, public prosecutions and search agencies) Secondly: Secondly: The minutes of the agreement allow the president to start consultations to form a government of political efficiencies, as stipulated in that agreement and its political and economic annex, which is supposed to be accomplished in the coming days.

"By signing today the matrix of mutual withdrawals and the return of the forces to agreed locations, today we put the Riyadh agreement between the legitimacy and the transitional council in an advanced stage on the road to the comprehensive implementation of the agreement in the military apartment, God willing," explaining that the completion of this matrix was carried out with the kind care and close monitoring of Your Excellency, the President, the leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the coalition leadership, and the relevant political and military leaders.

He added, "There is no room here to talk about retreating from what was signed today, we must create new foundations for coexistence among all Yemenis in Aden, and move the city little by little from the causes of conflict and the imposition of influence and prevent the abusers from continuing to harm the lives and security of people. "

At the end of his statement, Ibn Daghr concluded, "There is a national imperative that obligates us to return the compass's direction towards overthrowing the Iranian Houthi project in our country, the project that has caused all this destruction and chaos until the Houthis return from others, and they accept solutions based on the base of the three references, preserving the unity of Yemen And reconstruct it on new federal foundations as stipulated in the outputs of the National Dialogue.
