The forces of the "Second Brigade", a southern resistance backed by units of the joint southern forces, managed to break the largest Houthi encroachment on the positions of the southern forces in Jabal Weinan, Al-Khenqi and Jamar Fort in the Maris Front, north of Al-Dhale’ governorate.

The commander of the second brigade resistance forces at the Maris Front said that the Houthi militia launched the largest advance operation that started with hours on Monday evening until the early morning hours of Tuesday in which artillery, armor and anti-aircraft weapons were used.

In their offensive, the militias adopted the strategy of human and fire densities, launched a number of field attacks and attempted to advance with a massive human force.

He added: according to the rules of engagement, our forces dealt with the violent Houthi advance and the militias inflicted casualties, equipment, and property.

The artillery forces of the Second Brigade launched a violent bombardment on the fortifications of the Houthi militias in Jabal Nassa and the Al-Qahra region, forcing them to retreat to their previous positions.
