Houthi mine left 6 children seriously injured in Al-Waziyah, West Coast

A mine exploded and six children were injured, two of them in critical condition, in the Al-Waziyah district, west of Taiz.

The children were playing when a mine of Iranian arm militia exploded, planted in front of the homes of citizens in the village of Al-Sufi in Al-Waziyah, before liberating the district and the region, and wounded six of them between the ages of three and twelve.

The six children were taken to the Mocha Field Hospital to receive first aid and treatment.

The children injured in the explosion are:

Wijdan Majid Muhammad, 9 years old, Nasser bin Nasser Muhammad, 10 years old, Suhail Sabri Muhammad, 11 years old, Mufeed Saddam Muhammad, 8 years old, Ahmed Abdo Muhammad, 6 years old, Kahlan Sabri Muhammad, 12 years old.

The engineering teams of the joint forces on the West Coast, the National Demining Program and Masam Program are making continuous efforts to clear and secure large and sprawling areas that Iranian militias have filled with mines, explosives, and devices of various sizes and types.
