UN sources in Sanaa said that the differences between the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Sanaa, Lise Grande, and the militia leaders have returned once again, against the background of the issue of dealing with humanitarian relief aid through the so-called Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation that the militias have created instead of what was called the body National Department for the Coordination and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management.

The sources added: The UN official has reoriented notes criticizing the work of the Council and confirming that it is practicing the same method of plundering relief aid that was taking place through the previous body, especially since the staff of the Council are the same staff of the body that was the subject of a dispute between the UN official and the militia leaders, in addition to that the council confiscated the powers of the government ministries that were concerned with relief aid and neglecting the powers of the international cooperation sector at the Ministry of Planning.

According to the sources, Grande included her criticisms to point out that the Houthi leader and head of the presidential office, Ahmed Hamed, is practicing widespread looting with relief aid through his control of the newly formed council and interfering in the manner of distributing aid in a crude manner, where the information obtained by the international organizations that provide relief confirm that most of those Aid goes to Houthi leaders and does not reach those deserving of the poor families.

The sources confirm that the UN official conveyed her criticism to the head of the militia-controlled government, Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, during his meeting with her on Tuesday, and that she asked him to convey her criticism and her words to Al-Mashat and to the Houthi leaders.
