Southern forces break an attack in al-Dhale’

A military field source said that violent clashes erupted Thursday evening in the areas of Beit Al-Sharji and Qaroodh Al-Thokhub, in conjunction with the Houthi shelling of “Battar”.

He added that the militia attempted to infiltrate to recover sites that it had lost earlier, in the “Battar and al-Jubb” areas, but that the southern forces responded to them and incurred losses.


The combined forces artillery launched a focused bombardment on the Houthi communities, which resulted in the destruction of an armored vehicle.

In the context, locals said, the Houthi militia is launching an artillery bombardment on some of the residential villages near the confrontation areas, especially the villages of Battar, Habil Yahya, and al-Jubb.

Earlier, the southern forces managed to liberate the majority of the mountain hills, "Battar", after violent battles against the Houthi militia.

According to the source, during the past hours the front witnessed fierce battles that extended to the castle "Yraakh" and lasted for long hours.

Five members of the Houthi militia were killed, and several others were wounded in a qualitative and pre-emptive operation, in "Battar", which was carried out by the joint forces infantry unit, on Thursday night.
