Al-Qaeda attacks Rashad village, one of the villages of the Al-Wadhe’ district, in Abyan

Local sources and eyewitnesses told Newsyemen that a group of al-Qaeda militants launched an attack on Rashad village in the Mahwari tribe area.
The sources said that al-Qaeda used the medium and light weapons in the attack and it is not yet known if there were material or human losses.
The Al-Wadhe’ district, the hometown of interim President Hadi, is witnessing a proliferation of Al-Qaeda elements after the militia of the legitimate government took over the district.
