Aden, NewsYemen:

The United Nations team of international experts said it had identified the Houthi network involved in repression of women opposed to the militia in Sanaa, which is under its control.

The team’s final annual UN Panel of Experts report on Yemen said the team identified the Houthi network involved in repression of women who oppose the Houthis, including through the use of sexual violence.

It explained that the network is headed by Sultan Zaben, director of the Criminal Investigation Department in Sanaa.

The report stated that the team documented the violations committed by the Houthis "Zainabiyat", including arbitrary arrest and detention of women, looting, sexual assault, beatings, torture, and facilitating rape in secret detention centers.
