Brotherhood media announces that Saudi Arabia has withdrawn 4 cannons from the Khub and Al Shaaf front in preparation for handing them over to the Houthis

In anticipation of the handover of the Houthi militia, to the Khub al-Shaaf border department with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, media outlets affiliated with the Yemeni Brotherhood said that coalition forces withdrew four artillery from the front lines of the Islah party forces.


According to Al-Islah media, the leadership of the Arab coalition represented in Saudi Arabia withdrew four artillery from the front lines, which poses a threat to the district, which represents an area of 80% of Al-Jawf governorate.

However, field sources on the Khub and Al-Shaaf fronts denied the authenticity of the Brotherhood's media.

The sources told Newsyemen that the coalition forces did not withdraw the cannons from the fronts and that they had reinforced important sites with military equipment, noting that the cannons were still in their positions.

And yesterday, Saturday, the Houthi militia attacked sites in the Al-Muhashimah and Salila fronts, Al-Qaeef and Al-Dhahra regions, and military forces were able to repel the attacks, supported by coalition aircraft.


The confrontations are currently taking place on specific fronts of Al Khub and Al Shaaf in the Aqaba front, which lies to the north of Al Hizm, at the boundary between the Khub Al Sha`f and Al Hazm districts.

Clashes are also taking place at the Sabreen Front, which are mountains overlooking Al-Shaf, and the mountains of Aqaba from the north, in addition to the Al-Muhashmah Front of the Khub Al-Shaaf District, and in the Al-Salilah Front west of the Khub Al-Shaaf District overlooking the Thursday market, which is the supply line of the Al-Shaaf Front to government forces.


The confrontations also continue in the front page, west of the orphan, in the Khub al-Shaaf district, and in the Salbah front, northwest of the Khub al-Shaaf district.

In the Brat Al-Anan district, clashes are taking place on three fronts, northwest of Al-Jawf, adjacent to Saada governorate and the Burt Rajouza district, which are the Dahra, Al-Qa’eef, Afi, and Qadamul fronts in the southeast of Saada governorate.

The Directorate of Khub and Al-Shaaf is among 12 districts in Al-Jawf Governorate. It is the largest district of Al-Jawf Governorate in Yemen, but it is the least populous.

Its area constitutes 82% of the governorate’s area and according to local estimates, its population reached about 80 thousand people, and its area is 32,507 km2.

The Directorate consists of three segments: Al-Yatma, the isolation of Al-Shaaf, and the isolation of Wadi Khub.
