Aden, Newsyemen :

Today, Sunday, the Aden Refineries and Workers Union decided to stop pumping oil derivatives of all kinds and their uses.

This comes after the employees denounced the decision of the Minister of Finance Salem bin Brik, issued to reduce 30% of the salaries of workers and employees of the Aden Refineries Company starting from this month of March and without legal justification, despite the directives of the President of the Republic Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi to the government to pay the salaries of the refinery employees in full until that the government can supply the refinery with crude oil and restart the refinery.

The union said, in the statement, that from today, pumping will be stopped, until the full month's salary is disbursed without any delay.

Refinery employees complained to Newsyemen that the country's current status is not eligible for any discounts in light of the high food prices.
