Sanaa, Newsyemen, Najwa Ismail:

Preachers and imams of mosques in the Houthi militia in Sanaa on Friday attacked citizens who are demanding a reduction in fuel prices, after prices fell globally, and they considered this "tame" while calling those demanding a reduction in the price of gasoline as "hypocrites."

And in recent days, voices of citizens in the Houthi militia-controlled areas have risen, calling for a reduction in the prices of oil derivatives, similar to the liberated governorates, in which the price of the 20-liter petrol tank fell to 3300 riyals.

While the Houthi militia refuses to reduce the prices of derivatives, and continues to sell oil by 7,300 riyals, despite the significant decline in oil prices globally, although the militia itself had issued a decision to "float" the derivatives.

Imams of mosques loyal to the Houthi militia described these demands as "conspiracies by the Arab coalition countries led by Saudi Arabia to be implemented by those who are supposed to provide their blood and money to serve the group's fighters."

Local residents said that a Houthi preacher in a Sanaa mosque described the demanders to reduce the prices of gasoline and diesel as "groups of hypocrites and mercenaries", calling on the Houthi militia to "deter and strike with an iron hand on all those who adopt or repeat such claims."

Houthi elements also attacked the citizens who asked for payment of salary or half a salary or to provide a food basket to face the coming days that are required for the phase of domestic isolation, and they said that this is "an exclusion from the work of the hypocrites", as they put it.
