Marib, Newsyemen:

The battles continued between the army and the popular resistance on the one hand, and the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, on the other hand, on Saturday, in Serwah, west of Marib, amid casualties among the militias.

A field source said that the army forces and the people of the Marib tribes erected a tight ambush of groups belonging to the Houthi militia, which left more than 20 Houthi dead in one of the reefs of the Serwah front.

It added that the army and the popular resistance forces had also been able to counter a large-scale attack launched by the Houthis early on toward the main line on the same front.

On Friday, the Houthis launched a series of attacks in an attempt to recover the sites they had lost on the strategic Mount Hailan, but they were unsuccessful, except for two sites that were not of military significance.

The source said, that the Houthis lost during the past two days a number of their field leaders with the fire of the army and tribes forces and air raids of the Arab alliance.

It confirmed the death of the military leaders: Ali Ahmed bin Salama (with the rank of dean), Sheikh Nabil Ahmed Ali Jabari (with the rank of colonel), Murshid Ghobar (with the rank of captain), Haitham Muhammad Al-Mutaa (with the rank of lieutenant) and field leader Fayez Saleh Ali Al-Koman, along with a number of their companions.
