Violent battles in Serwah and Khub al-Shaaf in al-Jawf

Today, Sunday, the national army and tribesmen thwarted an attack by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on its positions in the Serwah Front, west of Ma'rib Governorate.

A military source said that the militia launched an attack on Al-Makhdarah sites, but that the national army and resistance forces repelled the attack, and the attackers suffered heavy losses.

 In addition, Arab coalition warplanes launched three raids, at dawn today, on the positions of the Houthi militia in the Deirah and Al Ashjari areas of Serwah.

 Yesterday, at least twenty Houthi militia were killed while trying to circumvent the sites of Al-Khattab and Al-Muhtadi and the liberated village of Al-Deirah before the National Army surprised them with the attack.

During the battles, the brigade commander of the three hundred and ten in the National Army, Brigadier General Mohamed Kamel Al-Dhefani, was killed in the Serwah Front, west of the city of Marib.

 In the context, a military source told Newsyemen, that the Houthi militia attacked more than fifteen combat coordinates sites that are still under the control of the army, and the militia did not achieve any progress on the ground that resulted in deaths, injuries, and the capture of other militia members.

 It is noteworthy that the Hailan mountain range overlooking the Directorate of Serwah, taken by the militia as a place to fire rockets into the city and is a direct supply line for the National Army towards Nehm Marib, and Sana'a Serwah Marib.

In Al-Jawf, a military source told NewsYemen that violent clashes erupted in the Al-Nadr front, east of Al-Hazm, Al-Jawf.

 The clashes erupted after the militia attempted and insisted on entering the Raghwan district of Ma'rib Governorate.

 A military source said that the militia failed in its operation and was unable to make any progress after being met with a fierce confrontation.
