On Sunday morning, the Arab Coalition announced that the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, launched a ballistic missile from Sana'a governorate, using civilian objects to launch, and fell inside Saada governorate.

"As an extension of its terrorist and hostile actions, the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia launched a ballistic missile from Sanaa governorate at 6:33 a.m. using civilian objects at the launching location," said coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki, spokesman for the coalition forces.

He added that "the ballistic missile fell after its launch inside Yemeni lands in the Directorate of Al-Safra in Saada Governorate in a densely populated agricultural area and civilian objects near the village of Akwan after it covered a distance of 200 km."

Colonel Al-Maliki pointed out "the deliberate persistence of the terrorist Houthi militia to violate international humanitarian law by launching ballistic missiles and indiscriminately striking civilians, as well as population gatherings that threaten the lives of hundreds of civilians."

He emphasized that "the leadership of the joint coalition forces continues to take firm measures to neutralize and destroy these ballistic capabilities to protect civilians inside Yemen, and to protect regional and international security."

A statement by the Alliance indicated that "the Yemeni Ministry of Oil and Minerals announced that the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia targeted the pumping station of the Safer oil pipeline located in Serwah, west of Marib Governorate, and what this sabotage terrorist act represents targeting the Yemeni state's capabilities and vital installations, the national property and gains of the Yemeni people. "

The spokesman for the Arab Alliance considered that this terrorist attack is an extension of the violations of the Houthi terrorist militia and its continuous sabotage against the Yemeni people.
