Taiz: The prosecution released 123 prisoners, in implementation of the general prosecutor's circular

The public prosecutor in the governorate of Taiz started the process of releasing dozens of prisoners today, Sunday, in implementation of the circular of Attorney General Ali Al-Awash, as part of a precautionary plan to prevent the outbreak of the Corona pandemic in the governorate.
Rights sources said that the Taiz Appeals Prosecution Office, in coordination and the presence of security and judicial authorities, completed on Sunday, the procedures for releasing 123 prisoners.
According to the sources, some prisoners were released today, others are scheduled for release within the next two days, and some of them have taken guarantees to appear before the courts after the end of the Coruna pandemic.
The procedures for the release of the prisoners were attended by Chief Judge of the Appeal Prosecutor Abdul Wahid Mansour, Director of the Human Rights Office Ali Sarhan, Secretary General of the Bar Association Tawfiq al-Shaabi, and prosecutors.
